New York Metro 2009
More than 5,000 people with disabilities, family members, caregivers and healthcare/special needs professionals gathered at the New Jersey Convention Center on April 17-19 to make Abilities Expo New York Metro wildly successful!
Not only were attendees treated to an up-close look at hundreds of the latest technologies, products and services, they engaged in dynamic workshops lead by high-profile presenters like Gary Karp, bestselling author of Life on Wheels. Healthcare and special needs professionals also walked away with CEUs from their informative, career-boosting sessions.
All eyes were riveted on the special events arena for exciting wheelchair sporting demos—basketball, rugby, football, soccer and archery! And fun and fashion coalesced as differently-abled men and women dazzled onlookers with hot new styles at the Dare to Change the World Fashion Show.
The new show management was thrilled by the positive reaction from both attendees and exhibitors, honored to provide an event that improves the lives of its participants and eager to come back on May 21-23, 2010.
